Contact form and email
I keep enquiries for no longer than two years after the last message. If an enquiry leads to an order, I keep the details needed for the invoice for as long as accounting and tax rules require.
When you write to me through the form or by email, I process your name, email address, phone number (if you give it) and the text of your message. I need them to reply to you and to prepare a design and a quote.
The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time by email.
To keep robots from abusing the form, the website stores the time of sending and a fingerprint of your IP address from which the address cannot be recovered. It serves only to stop too many messages coming from one address. After a day the record is deleted the next time the form is sent or the website is visited.
Hosting
The website is hosted by Websupport, which processes the form data on my behalf. As the hosting provider, Websupport keeps technical server logs, including IP addresses, for security and operation; it processes them under its own rules.
Cookies
The website uses a single cookie, lang. It remembers the language of the website – the one you chose, or the one selected on your first visit – and lasts one year. It is necessary for the website to work, so it does not need your consent. I do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Visitor statistics
I count visits with my own simple counter, without cookies. Neither your IP address nor anything else that could identify you is stored – only totals: page, language, country, type of device and where you came from.
Choice of language
When you first open the website’s home address, the website chooses the language by your country if the server knows it from your IP address, otherwise by your browser’s language. The website does not store the IP address anywhere; it remembers the language in the lang cookie.
Videos and messages
If a page contains a YouTube video, it loads only after you click it. From that moment YouTube (Google) processes data under its own rules.
The WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram buttons are plain links. Until you click them, these services learn nothing about you from this website. Once you click, their privacy policies apply.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to data portability and to object. Just write to info@irijadesign.com.
If you believe I am handling your data incorrectly, you can lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic.
